La Transvulcania es una carrera de larga distancia y ultra montaña que se celebra en la Isla de La Palma y está considerada una de las más duras del mundo y de las más importantes de España. Con un desnivel acumulado de 8525 metros se puede decir que los corredores van desde el infierno al cielo y bajan de nuevo a la tierra para llegar exhaustos a la meta, a más de 74km del comienzo.
